The TUIE discussed the possibility of enhancing cooperation with companies in Germany

Issues of expanding cooperation with business circles of the Federal Republic of Germany were in the focus of the attention of the participants of the meeting held on January 24 in the conference hall of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.

The representative delegation of guests, headed by the Deputy Head of the Foreign Economic Policy Directorate of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Dr. Andreas Nicolin, included heads and specialists of more than twenty companies interested in establishing partnerships with Turkmen entrepreneurs, including those who already have experience in working with members of the TUIE.

The Turkmen business community was attended by the Chairman, members of the board, heads of the TUIE departments, as well as representatives of more than 30 enterprises and private business enterprises.

The Chairman of the Union introduced the guests to the achievements of the organization headed by him, large-scale projects implemented by Turkmen entrepreneurs, and the export potential of private producers. Among the promising areas of cooperation are named: the industrial sector and agribusiness, the use of high technologies, the creation of capacities for the processing of natural resources, tourism, etc.

The head of the delegation Andreas Nicolin noted the interest of German business circles in further building up mutually beneficial partnerships and expanding its areas.

In this regard, the growth of the innovative component of the Turkmen economy was noted, stimulating a favorable investment climate in our country, favorable geographical conditions for the activities of foreign companies, the presence of a developed transport network, cheap energy resources, etc.

During the meeting, opportunities for implementing joint projects were discussed, including the creation of joint ventures and the organization of the production of German goods in Turkmenistan.

There presented their proposals Anton Ohlert GmbH & Co, Basalt AG, SICK, Stäubli Bayreuth GmbH, Textima Export-Import GmbH, MTS Mangal Transport & Shipping, ZAB Zementtanlagenbau GmbH, LEISTRITZ Extrusions GmbH, WILO SE, Edison Technologies GmbH, Gregori Weiser and others who have expressed interest in doing business in the promising Turkmen market.

The importance of organizing joint business meetings, business forums and other events promoting the exchange of experience and the establishment of direct business contacts was noted.

At the end of the meeting, its participants reaffirmed their desire to increase cooperation and the practical implementation of the agreements reached.

In the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, a series of bilateral meetings were organized between Turkmen entrepreneurs and German companies specializing in transport, production of building materials, equipment for the food industry, agricultural machinery, turbine and pump technologies, electrical engineering, industrial communication systems and security.

Following the meetings, “Turkmen Logistic Association” ES signed an agreement of intent with MTS Mangal Transport & Shipping for cooperation in the transport sector, “Ukuply Kardeshler” IE - Memorandum of Understanding with ZAB Zementtanlagenbau GmbH for the construction of a cement plant.

During a working visit to our country, German businessmen got acquainted with the work of “Abadan Haly” OJSC, visited “Birdunya” ES.

A representative of Anton Ohlert GmbH & Co visited “Taze Ay” and “Dayanch Plastic” companies in Mary.
